With over 18 years experience Edwina Ibbotson's designs are couture millinery at its very best. Her designs are feminine and elegant, consisting of headdresses, hats, and veils, and each piece is exquisitely designed and constructed to perfection. Her wonderful collections include chic beaded headdresses, delicate soft tulle and floral designs, demure feather headpieces, and beautifully designed hats perfect for the modern bride, stylish mother of the bride or Groom and wedding guests.
Combining traditional millinery techniques and know-how with a modern eye Edwina's signature look is flirtatious, timeless and romantic with a slight vintage feel.
With just over a week until our Absolutely Beautiful Wedding show at Claridges, myself and my team are all working incredible hard to create some new pieces to show, and are really looking forward to the day as the show is going to be so wonderfully glamorous and fun, with lots available for the bride and groom to be to falling love with and tick off their list's. With such an intimate and personal show ,we the exhibitors will all be able to spend as much time and give the very best advice as needed. and for those hoping to have their reception at Claridges, what a better way to view the very beautiful rooms available to hire for your wedding.

I’m just off to catch a flight for a Designer Day in Glasgow and having raced this far into 2010 it’s lovely being able to take a moment and catch up with you all in advance of the show next week. It has been a very busy start to the year and despite the snow back in January forcing us to shut up shop for one day, and leaving us a bit short staffed in production for a couple of days, I’ve got some really luxurious and romantic new designs for 2010 (sneaky peak above…). In addition, amongst the Designer Days and other events I’ve attended so far, we’ve been busily redesigning my new website and I think it’s pretty good….do have a look if you get a chance and let me know what you think www.sassiholford.com.
I cannot believe that The Absolutely Beautiful Weddings Show is almost upon us at just over a week away! I am so excited about this new show, I think it’s going to be very special indeed… Obviously, my excitement has nothing to do with seeing Tenors Unlimited again or hoping that they might serenade me once more –and in such a gorgeous venue too!
No, in all seriousness, I am thrilled to be part of this luxurious new show alongside so many other wonderful companies –some are good friends already and I know that we are all anticipating this show to be great fun for everyone involved. I’m jumping at the prospect of being able to share my current collection, which I have called “Decadence”, with each new bride-to-be who is visiting on the day –I can’t wait to meet you and answer any questions that you might have about finding your dream gown…see you at Claridges!

Amy, Laura and Joanna are three sisters who have taken over one of London’s oldest and most prestigious florists, William Hayford and transformed it into Hayford & Rhodes. The Rhodes sisters decided to leave their old careers to follow their utter love of flowers. A challenge not to be sniffed at, the girls have initiated the rebranding of the company with a modern edge, whilst maintaining the timeless elegance synonymous with

The Absolutely Beautiful Weddings Show
December 10, 2009
This weekend, I enjoyed a rare supper with two great friends and found myself chatting with them about a new show I'm attending at Claridge's on 28 March next year called The Absolutely Beautiful Weddings Show. I was moved and amazed by both of my friends - Jo, just back from Harvard and Jane, a consultant anaesthetist - offering to help for the sheer love of it!
'Girls! It's hard work!' Yet, I know it's also an irresistible mix of fun and glamour so, I've accepted their offer, sparking great excitement!
The show certainly looks set to be a lovely, intimate affair full of gorgeous indulgences! Joining me are a select gro, including Magpie Vintage and Emmy Shoes. Websites of others are below.
Also there, are the great Tenors Unlimited. They sang to me in a champagne reception at the Designer Wedding Show earlier this year, and my knees just melted! They sing at weddings and believe me, they are truly unforgettable! Swoon, swoon!
